This year, Rapid International enjoyed a successful and rewarding Hillhead 2010. With this year’s event registering an all-time high for the overall number of exhibitors, Rapid were delighted at all the interest shown in their two new products, namely the mobile batch plant, the Rapidbatch 120, and the new twin shaft mixer.

The mobile batching plant greatly reduces transport and installation costs and is easily set up on-site with no foundations required. It is used for on-site mixing on projects such as Bridges, Wind-Farm bases and Paving.

The popular new RT3000 twin shaft concrete mixer was also on display. With its compact design and faster mix, the Twin Shaft mixer is proving a popular choice for concrete manufacturers.

Rapid International’s well-known RP375 Planetary mixer, R4000 Pan Mixer and Mixer Washout System were exhibited alongside the new products. Although they are well known products within the product portfolio, they are nonetheless extremely popular with customers.

Plenty of new contacts were made and it was great to catch up with some existing customers. Rapid recognise the importance of market research and customer feedback at exhibitions such as Hillhead. They ensure this is all fed back to the design and product development departments in order to produce new products which the market demands.
