Rapid International Ltd

Rapid International Ltd have recently installed a concrete batching plant for their customer, Hagans, in Newtownards.

 

This customer has changed from dry to wet batching, to improve quality, to save cement and still produce concrete to the same strength. Following the installation of this plant, any outstanding health, safety and environmental issues have now been fully addressed.

 

The plant size has brought his production capacity to a level 4 to 6 times what his old plant was able to produce.

 

 

The specifcation of this plant is:

• 6 no 25 ton aggregate bins with roof over.
• Electrics, fully automatic batching and remote control infeed system for bins.
• Incline conveyor from weigh belt to top of Mixer platform.
• Mixer platform to hold R2000 pan mixer with two doors, able to load 60 mts of concrete per hour.
• Installtion of a Rapid Jetwash system.
