Rapid International has recently returned from exhibiting its products at the Con Expo Show in the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Las Vegas, USA.

This is one of the world’s, and North America’s, largest exhibitions for the construction equipment, aggregates and mixed concrete industries, exhibiting the latest equipment, product innovations and technological advances. The show, which continued for five days from the 11th – 15th March, illuminates products and services which have been developed outside of the US, in countries such as Brazil, Canada, China, Germany and the UK, to name a few.

At the Con Expo Show Rapid International salesmen worked alongside their American distributors displaying their Rapidmix 400 C Mobile Continuous Mixing Plant (used for soil stabilisation, lean-mix concrete and roller compacted concrete) and a wide range of the Rapid Pan and Planetary Mixers. Rapid products have proved very popular in the US market with increasing export sales from Northern Ireland to the US, due fundamentally to their easy maintenance and use, their high quality and their efficiency and effectiveness.

The 2008 show saw record breaking attendance, exhibition space and number of exhibiting countries.  More than 144,600 visitors attended the show of which some 28,000 were from non US countries.  The vast area of 2.28 million square feet proved to be sufficient space for the 2,182 exhibitors who decided to exhibit this year.  The number of exhibitors in 2008 was an increase of 21% from Con Expo 2005 thus accentuating the immense interest this show attracts from people all over the world.
