The plant consists of: Loading Hopper with steep sides and lining material to recieve the aggregate or soil from loading shovel bucket. A belt feeder is mounted on the outlet of the hopper.
Twin Shaft Pugmill mixer
Twinshaft continuous pugmill mixer to mix the aggregate and cement material. Chill Cast Steel Mixing Paddles mix the material whilst propelling it along the mixing chamber. Large opening covers on side and top of mixer give maximum maintenance access. A belt conveyor forms the base of the mixing chamber simplifying the cleaning operation.
Cement Silo
Silo to store the cement or binder material. Reverse jet filter with safety system to prevent silo from over-filling or over pressure. A rotary valve fitted to the outlet of the silo meters the material into the mixer at a consistent feed rate.
On-board water storage tank with variable speed pumps to provide water to the mixer.
Outloading Conveyor
A Gob Hopper fitted to the end of this conveyor, holds material, allowing the machine to continue to run, whilst the next truck moves in for loading.
Control system with automatic control of the machine, allowing 30 recipes for the proportioning of different materials. A printer is fitted for tickets or reports to be generated. Variable speed drives, allow the feed rates of materials to be adjusted according to the recipe.
Control Panel
Lattice chassis with tri-axle running gear and lighting system for full highway mobility.
Pneumatic system with compressor to give air for silo filter and gob hopper door operation.
Hydraulic system used to level the machine before erection to the working position.
Gen-set to provide electrical power for all machine functions.
Genset
Diesel powered generating set with engine directly coupled to an alternator.
Option: Cold Feed Bin System: - to allow multiple materials to feed the Rapidmix 400 C. Mobile chassis with 3No or 4No 12m3 ( 16 cu yd) Bins each with feeder belt, feeding onto gathering conveyor with inclined conveyor at the end. Control hardware to operate the conveyors and hydraulic powerpack for leveling and erection of the machine.
