This plant is totally mobile and completely self-contained with it’s own power source. Fitted with a self erecting system, using hydraulics, means the plant can change from travel mode into a fully operational within a few hours. The Rapidmix 400 C mixes up to 400 Tonnes per hour depending on application. Feed rates are fully adjustable for the aggregate, cement and water systems.

The Plant Consists Of:
Outloading Conveyor
(Transports the mixed material from the Twinshaft Mixer to the Truck)
- Fitted with Gob Hopper allowing a holding gate for mixed material
- 3 ply belt with heavy duty top cover and vulcanised joint: 800mm (31.5”)
- Polyurethane blade pre-cleaner belt scraper mounted on the face of the head drum
- Drive has motorised drum with rubber lagging
Twinshaft Continuous Mixer
(The twin shafts mix the material, whilst moving the material toward the end of the mixer)

Twin Shaft Pugmill Mixer
All mixing tools are manufactured using "chill cast" hard wearing steel
- Full maintenance via top and side openings of the mixer
- Shafts are driven by electric motors: 1 x 75kW (100HP)
- Spray bars provide consistent material hydration
- A conveyor is used as the mixer floor, thus allowing easy cleanout
Cement/Binder Silo

Capable of storing 54 US tons (50 tonnes)
- Shut-off slide valves close the silo outlet allowing maintenance to hopper below
- Full galavanised folding access ladder with safety cage
- Access hatch on top of the silo
- 24m2 Reverse Jet Filter with fan assistance. A pressure relief valve is fitted to protect the silo from over-pressurisation
- Storage vessel for receiving cement/binder material from road tankers
- Level probes control and monitor silo filling and emptying
Cement / Binder Weigh Vessel
(Holding vessel continuously weighs material)
- 4 No compression load cells monitor the contents of the hopper
- Twin outlet screw conveyor discharges the cement or binder into the mixer
- Feedrate is measured by recording rate of change in weight observed on the loadcells
- Rubber connecting socks contain the material and enable weighing
- 4 slide valves allow efficient filling of hopper
Aggregate Hopper with Variable Speed Belt Feeder
(Hopper receives the aggregates into the plant from a standard loading shovel)

Capacity of 15.6 yds3 (12.0m3) & loading width of 14ft 2.5 ins (4330mm)
- Hopper can be loaded from either side of the machine
- Steep sides for difficult materials (end slopes of 60 degrees)
- Removable division plate allows two materials to be used
- Adjustable level gates enable the material height on the conveyor belt to be varied
- Belt feeder provides feed from the hopper to the mixer
- Belt width is 1200mm (4") and a heavy duty 3 ply belt is fitted
- Conveyor fitted with heavy duty geared motor drive, adjustable rubber skirts and heavy duty support rollers

(The system uses a Siemens S7200 PLC to control all of the plant functions for automatic control with manual backup)

Manual option on control panel complete with manual rate meters which display and allow adjustment on the speed of the in feeds
- Control panel allows the operator to store, edit and retrieve up to 30 recipes for the proportioning of different materials
- Siemens MP277 touch screen panel has facility to archive production information such as current stock levels and production records
- Displays speed of the in feeds during manual operation
- 40 character per line thermal printer
